Are you missing teeth? Sick of removable dentures? All-on-4 Implants might be the perfect solution for you!

All-on-4 dental implants let you replace your dentures straight away, without the lengthy procedure of conventional implants. How do they work? All-on-4 implants are a brand new set of artificial teeth that rest on 4 dental implants that are then surgically placed into your jaw. The solution is fast, permanent and feels and looks natural and comfortable.

If you are not looking to replace your whole smile, and need one or two implants, we also offer conventional dental implants.

If you are interested in getting implants, we are offering a FREE consultation with one of our dentists so they can examine your eligibility and you can learn more about the procedure.

At our Charters Towers practice, we believe in guiding our patients along a path of optimal health and wellness, part of that is practicing good oral hygiene. While brushing your teeth is second nature, you may be surprised at these tips and tricks that can help improve your oral hygiene!

1. Brush twice a day for 2 minutes

Make sure to clean every part of your mouth to avoid tartar build up and prevent gum disease and tooth decay

2. Visit your dentist regularly

You should visit your dentist twice a year for a check-up and clean, not only to clean your teeth but so they can catch potential issues early on

3. Use fluoride toothpaste

Fluoride fights germs that can lead to decay, as well as provide a protective barrier for your teeth

4. Floss!

Flossing is important for removing plaque in between your teeth that your brush can’t reach and lower inflammation in the area

5. Limit Sugary and acidic foods

Sugar and acidic fruits, teas and coffees convert into acid in the mouth. These acids can then erode enamel of your teeth and lead to cavities.

6. Don’t neglect your tongue

Brush your tongue every time you brush your teeth, plaque can also build up on your tongue. This can lead to bad mouth odor and other oral health issues.

7. Avoid smoking

Tobacco not only stains your teeth, but also weakens them and as associated with higher risk of gum disease

8 Use mouthwash

Certain mouthwashes can benefit oral health and help with bad breath. A mouthwash cannot substitute brushing and flossing, but it can compliment these practices

9. Drink more water

Water is the best beverage for your oral health in that it contains no sugar that can harm your teeth. Not only that but it can help wash out some of the negative effects of sticky and acidic foods and beverages in between brushes

10. Spit don’t rinse

Spit out the excess toothpaste before rinsing your mouth to avoid washing away the fluoride that protects your teeth
