Implants create the most natural and life-like solution to a missing tooth. The result is virtually indistinguishable from your other teeth and after a short healing period, will feel just as comfortable and natural.

Other solutions for replacing missing teeth – either a bridge or dentures – are not as long-lasting and stable or natural-looking.

Am I a suitable candidate for dental implants?  

If you have missing teeth, the only requirement for you to have a dental implant fitted is that your mouth is in good health. Meaning that you have a healthy jawbone and no gum disease.  

What does recovery involve? 

Your dental implant recovery time and side effects will depend on many factors, including the number of implants, your dental health, and length of the surgery. You may experience some swelling and discomfort following the procedure and you may find it difficult to chew for several days after surgery. These symptoms should subside in around 5-7 days. 

Before and after every procedure, your dentist will provide you with information specific to the surgery, including recovery time, a unique meal plan and aftercare.
